Restaurants benefiting from The Best of Warwick
10,542 people searched on Google alone, for “Restaurant in Warwickshire” during October. 217 people were looking for an Italian Restaurant. If you were a restauranteur wouldn’t you like some of that business?
Restaurants featured on The Best of have exceptional search engine optimisation and are readily found by those hungry customers.
Already one restaurant on The Best Of Warwick has reported increased advance bookings from customers outside the area, meeting family and friends etc. One family booked a surprise birthday party at Robbies Restaurant, had such a good time they went on to The Best of Warwick and posted a 3* review, they will be back for the next family re-union.
Another restaurant reported an increase in younger couples, who have now become a new generation of regulars.
The internet is used extensively, if not exclusively by younger people so where do they look for somewhere to eat? Getting several people together – Warwick is an ideally central location, but if you do not know Warwick how do you find a good restaurant? Look on the internet!
If you can find lots of information, pictures, and reviews from other diners, how easy it that to persuade you to make a booking?
Every Day
I talk to people EVERY DAY about making a Will, and at first they nearly always say:-
"It will be just the simple Will for us then"
Yes, I'll do them a simple Will if that's what they want, but once they know the issues they need to cover, and the options they have, it rarely turns out to be that way!
This is because Knightsbridge Legal Services specialise in Estate Planning, not just Will Writing -some issues we cover:-
- Who are to be Guardians for your children? (a Will is the only place you can legally stipulate this)
- Should the Guardians be given a legacy in the Will to cover the initial expenses of taking on the children?
- Who will act on your behalf if you lose your Mental Capacity? (answer the Court if you take no action now)
- How do you protect your children's inheritance should your spouse/partner remarry and make a new Will?
- How can you protect your assets in the event of long term care being required?
- How can you protect your assets against Inheritance Tax following the Budget changes?
These are all real and vital issues that I see and offer solutions to EVERY DAY.
EVERY WEEK at the Business Club, I get the chance to highlight one or more of these and situations that I have dealt with during the past seven days to my fellow like minded members and guests.
What better way to advertise, network and develop your business could there be?
It works for me!
Rosalie
Rosalie, after losing her job through a company liquidation, was at an all time low. No money, no job and low self esteem. Just to have a job and some money, she took the first available offer. However it did nothing for her esteem. Unfortunately for her, the new employer picked up on her low esteem, and made demand after demand on her good nature. Never a one to say No, she worked late into the evening.
During our coaching sessions Rosalie focused on what it was that she wanted and then made a list. Undeterred by not achieving her second goal of winning the lottery, she went on to find a better job.
What Rosalie says, "The belief and commitment my coach had in me gave me confidence to turn my thoughts into actions, and carry those actions through to completion, and then recognise my success. I know that what ever it is I want, I will achieve it."
Leamington Apprentice Becomes Man of Letters!
Printing protégé Luke Oakes has grand designs on a colourful career after a combination of IT skills, creative flair and appetite for learning signposted the path to Apprenticeship success.
Twenty-year-old Luke, of Whitnash, Leamington, has just gained an NVQ Level 3 certicate in IT after becoming the first apprentice at Corio Signs and Printing in Warwick .
In the six years since it was founded, the business has built up a base of over 500 clients and a turnover of £180,000 - and managing director David Guice believes that success is due in no small part to his decision to put apprentices at the heart of his business plan.
"When I started the business, I wanted to invest in state-of-the-art equipment and that meant employing someone with good IT skills," says the 51-year-old.
"People of Luke's age have grown up with computers. So it was an excellent fit because we gave him an opportunity to apply those skills in a commercial setting.
"And because we're a small company employing just four people, we needed an apprentice who would get stuck in and learn the ropes throughout the whole operation.
"It's thanks in no small part to Luke's contribution that the business has grown steadily and we're now looking at moving to a bigger site, where I intend to employ more apprentices."
Like many school-leavers, Luke was unsure of the best direction to take and enrolled on a full-time IT course at Warwickshire College . But he soon realised full-time study no longer suited him and was able to combine earning and learning when David agreed to hire him as his first apprentice.
"Doing an Apprenticeship has given me the best of both worlds," says Luke. "It's meant I've been learning a trade, earning money and still attending college on day release. I've also had the support of a mentor who comes and checks how I'm getting on."
Trainer Maureen Bensa, of Warwickshire College , said: "Full-time study isn't for every teenager but we knew Luke was bright and were delighted that Corio gave him the opportunity to fulfil his potential as an apprentice."
